Without words to describe how he's feeling ("Thank you," would have been a logical start,) Uai can only think to kiss her cheek as a sign of gratitude.]
[The kiss on the cheek gets a smile from her as she leans back, lifting a hand to brush her fingers through his bangs again, hand lightly touching the side of his face. The gratitude in the gesture he'd just given her was clear.
